Ah no, it was supposed to be a love heart thing for the two Cark bois. Not really up to speed on the whole emoji gig.

You haven't been around much lately dude. Howz the job treating you?

Lovely looking. What size are yer wheels? Sits really well on them. Almost looks like the car you'd see used on leaflets etc. to advertise the car. :)

    Wow thank you :)

They're 19s. The goal this year would be to swap them for smaller 18 bbs with a nice dish. The 19s are hard to deal with on our terrible roads.

    I know, just being a bollocks. :D

Yeah, I forgot my password for a few weeks and kind of fell off the horse. The job has also been filling up my day time hours so I've less time to get on and chat. It's going great though, thanks for asking. :)

Yeah, I'll be 8 months in the Job on Monday. Had a hefty 6 months trial/probation period though so no sign of heading off to FAS for a while yet unfortunately. That'd be my only qualm.

Here's a pic to keep the thread healthy, must be about 4 years old now. I really do miss that car, the rear weighing nothing at all was always fun!

Wired in my upgrade Sony system in the Civic today. Adds snooze and alarm functionality as well as dramatically better radio reception, clearer sound, and easier to read high-level display.
    Looks factory too.

I read the post before scrolling and I couldn't understand why it'd give a snooze option :)

It looks like an alarm clock radio .

I had been trying to figure out who pelmeniz was, figured I most likely knew them from Boards but wasn't sure if it was the photography forum or somewhere else.... and of course I was always in admiration of their attachment to the Escort!

I had great ideas for this Jetta. Fitted coilovers and straight piped the exhaust. Loved it.

And then I came to my senses and realised what I was doing was completely ridicolous :pac: This is my last ever photo of it, sold it this evening and bought my new car this evening too. Photos to follow of that ;)

    That was quick!

Yeah I was never really a huge fan of it. Said I'd try the whole "lowered scene" but I really didnt like that (theres a lot of speedbumps around waterford, and a comfortable car is needed when driving between waterford and tipperary :pac:)

New car is a Volkswagen Passat 1.9TDI B6 Comfortline.. Not much of a chance but its bigger, more spec, not low and no loud exhaust.. I'll learn from my own mistakes!

Not much point in lowering your car if it's just a TDI that was never meant to go fast anyway.
    Good decision.

It was fun having it all done but it'll be a long time before I do anything like it again.

The only thing that'll touch the Passat are a set of new plates and a set of Monte Carlo alloys if I can get my hands on a set :)
