Can just about manage to get things to play with an air mouse after sideloading it on to my android tv. Far from ideal. Maybe we'll see android tv support in 2030.

Edit: spoke too soon. It crashed 30 minutes in.

App looks quality in fairness, box sets are a nice touch. Will watch all 5 seasons of love/hate over the Christmas. Can watch rte in the bedroom now without having to get a poxy ariel.

Tried yesterday and it worked great for casting to my lenovo home hub. Haven't cast to the Shield yet but will give it a go later.

Great information in OP but not a fcking bargain.

Something that was always free (license fee apart) is still free.

Lots of apps get updates and they aren't in Bargain Alerts, because they aren't bargains.

Try these Netflix instructions (minus the Netflix specific part obviously). All devices need to be on the same WiFi by the way.

Yet you still felt the need to comment. I found op's post useful as it led me to see the new RTE player which has complete box set of Bachelor's walk and love hate amongst others.

I felt the need to comment because there is an android forum, a broadcasting forum and a television forum. As I said, it's useful but does not belong in this forum. Lots of useful sh*t could be posted here that people might like, like what time the big game is on, or news of a development in Dublin, or a nice recipe for Christmas cake. All great stuff but doesn't mean it should end up in this forum.

I'll say no more, as I don't want to go off topic :pac: except to say Harrumph.
