Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

A person I spoke to recently informed me that you limit the number of people who can view a site at once. I looked into this and found that I'm limited to 50 vhosts.

Can you explain a little more about vhosts? My site uses wordpress, has a forum (which usually has 3-5 spambots lurking on it), and will allow user to view a video and screenshots of my product. I understand that an exact figure may not be possible, but can you give me an estimate as to how many users can connect to my website at once?

There is a possibility of high volume bursts of traffice to my site, and I find it a little worrying a customer may be told they can't access.

Sorry about the delay in replying
    There's a short explanation here: https://help.blacknight.com/entries/22918232-Website-down-due-to-Maximum-Vhost-limit-reached-error

Essentially it's the number of concurrent connections to the site at any one time that is limited ie. users actually downloading content, which wouldn't be the same as a user reading etc., as they'd already have the content downloaded

If you need more details please let us know
