Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What age or weight would a Suffolk ran want to be to be suitable for breeding?

They'll breed from about 6 months old, DJ, but their size and stamina will count against them. I'd like them over 60kgs anyway so they would be able to cover a good few ewes at that size.

I wouldn't like going over 30 ewes with a ram lamb if you wanted some bit of compact lambing and less again the smaller and younger they are.
