Or happy holidays, happy time off, winter solstice, whatever you're celebrating yourself!

This has been a very quick year in some ways. It's almost exactly a year since we moved into our new office in South William Street and it still feels new. We've had a small stream of users drop in to us over the year for one reason or another - for the Boards.ie Photobook launch night or to collect your Boards.ie cycling gear and a few other things. It's great to have a space of our own. We haven't made a tremendous mark on the place so there's still some decorating to be done in 2016. Anyone good with a paintbrush? :pac:

We've had some staff changes this year and have welcomed some new faces. This is the biggest team we've ever had right now! The site is doing well, we'll be introducing our new look site in 2016 and there will be lots more exciting developments to come on the site.

Please be patient over the next ten days or so, lots of people are taking time off and that includes us here in the office as well as our Mods, CMods and Admins - it's much needed and deserved.

We will be checking emails sent to the office sporadically for anything urgent; anything non-urgent can wait until myself and Dav return to work on 4th January 2016 when we are back to our normal working hours.

Unfortunately, this is not a happy, fun time of year for everyone and for some people it is the very opposite.
If you feel you need to talk to someone, here are some helpful numbers of people you can call:

    Samaritans 1850 60 90 90 their new free call number is 116 123

    Aware (supporting depression) 1890 303 302

Society of St. Vincent de Paul 01 8386990 - you will find the numbers for individual area offices on the site linked.

Thanks for your feedback, support and posts in 2015 - let's have lots more in 2016!

    All the best,
    The Boards.ie Team :)
