A new archive has opened in Clonmel House on Forster Way in Swords (parallel to the main st with massive potholes).

I'm hoping to get in there today to check it out.

Useful stuff that they have include: 1901 census on microfilm for Dublin, various Dublin newspapers on microfilm, historical journals, will indexes, passenger lists and directories (they say Thoms, the Treble Almanack but not if it's a complete run).

Also estate papers for Malahide, Cloghran Stud, the Hely-Hutchinson archive and the Earls of Fingall.

I'll report back on what it's like.
