Dash Cam Discount?

    Do we get any discounts for having dash cams in our cars? I am going to have front and rear installed it also records while the car is off if it's triggered, basically turns into a CCTV camera and as far as I know will upload footage to the cloud via cellular network if enabled. Which it will be for myself.

    I'm guessing not, but is there a reason for this. Surely it would help the insurance company in admin in deciding libaility if there's footage of an incident or vandalism etc..

    Thanks for your post. At present we don't provide a discount for Dash Cams. It may be something we could consider in the future.

    Any change on this since 2 years ago?
    A few companies are now offering discounts for having a dashcam.
