I still don’t understand why there’s no edit option even though this is my thread... whats the point of that ... anyways

Because it's not that easy to set one option for you / your thread and a different one for the rest of the site! :D

Posts are editable by the poster for a short time, and not after that point.

The reason for that sitewide, as opposed to these specific study log threads where it would be nice to have the option, is that we get horrendously long argumentative threads in places like Politics and AH, and they're chaotic enough without people being able to go back days or even weeks later, edit their posts, and then claim "oh, I never said that in the first place, you're misquoting me!!"

going to start updating this thread when im in 6th year.

    Summer exam results

BIOLOGY - 68 - H4 - Extremely disappointed since its my best subject and I want to do vet med so this doesn’t look good tbh

AG SCIENCE - 67 - H4 - again disappointed, made a lot of silly mistakes

GEOGRAPHY - 47 - H6 - disappointing as I was writing until the very last minute. Regret picking geo as for some reason I’m not doing great in it. Only picked it because I was good at in jc. Or maybe shes just a hard marker idk.

ENGLISH - 72 - O3 - well it’s ordinary level so i mean theres nothing to celebrate here.

MATH - 35 - O7 - surprised as I finished the exam in 10 minutes due to not knowing anything that was asked but ok. Need an O4 for most science courses to get into vet med / med so idk how that is going to happen

IRISH - 59 - O5 - never picked up a book for this useless subject so again im quite surprised, especially since I didn’t do the 40% oral lmao. But anyways

FRENCH - 31 - H7 - again one of my best subjects at JC so idk what im doing wrong. Ugh. Also foreign languages are compulsory so just saying I didn’t choose this subject as one of my options.

Studying chemistry by myself is also going terribly slow so tbh most likely I will be repeating the lc. And colleges abroad that look for grade averages would never accept results like these. 68 in bio but I want to become a vet/doctor ?!? So embarrassing.
6th year is going to be sooooo tough, I can feel it. Anyways I’ll be back in September
    Bye

Xmas results. I know I haven’t been active but its quite hard to update everyday when you’re tired and have so many things to do. The list is never ending.

BIOLOGY - 72% - H3 - ehh fine. Need to work on the experiment questions.

AG SCI - 49% - H6 - I messed up my genetics question which brought me down a lot but we’re gonna cover it in biology too so I have plenty of time to understand it.

GEOG - 56% - H5 - got 55/80 for the short qs. Did horrible on the question a on both regional and physical long qs. The human elective question saved me as its basically common knowledge ya don’t even need to study that much for it. So easy to do well in.

FRENCH - 27% - H8 - over french at this stage idc at this point

MATHS - 13% - O9..? - I wasn’t expecting a nice result never have in maths so I’m not disappointed in anyway. I know my ability in this subject so im not surprised

IRISH - 68% - O4 - high grade because the whole class did terrible on the poetry/story section so she decided to only grade us on our comprehension & our one piece of writing sooo yeah.

    ENGLISH - still waiting

    Update :

    AG SCI - 50% - H5
