Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Moved house recently , never had oil heating before .
It's a Grant outdoor Oil boiler , guess 15 yrs old , believe they are a pretty common set up.
It works perfectly but the fumes have a mild smell , I am used to mains gas boilers , never had smell with those .

So my question is it normal to have some smell ? Is this something a service might help ?

    Thanks

Might or might not be a normal smell.
Always best to have it serviced regularly .

I don't think it is much normal smell. According to experts, if your system smells then probably it needs maintenance. Secondly, it could also because of any leak. We can't say anything with complete assurance. Better to ask from a service guy.
