Outdoor finishing on pine

Hi. After a bit of advise. I plan to make a sign for outdoor use made from 3/4 pine. I know its not great for outdoors, but its what I have. C NC job. What should I paint it with?? I want it oak colored, and able to stay fresh for years. Any recommendations on products?
