Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wow - that's a surprise! Many thanks to all - and a special one to Myksyk for the hard work put in.
As you all probably know now - the Dodder is my 'terrain' - I walk along a section( the banks of course) near where I live most days, weather permitting.
The cormorants are almost an all year feature of the area - they 'live' on top of the tall old 'Dublin Laundry chimney ( there were 3 up there today but here is a older pic of 4 of them).
This is the mating season for them and both male and female take on a breeding plumage(unlike most other birds- their sex cannot be determined by this plumage). So this pic shows a cormorant displaying this breeding plumage.
As usual, this pic was taken with my trusted combination of Nikon D800 and Tamron 150-600mm lens ( in this case fully extended).
ISO 1250 and shutter speed 1/400 on a dull enough day!
BTW Cormorants are really disliked by fisherpeople as they are voracious eaters of river fish!0
