Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So we either don't have a thread for this yet, or i can't search for ****, but whatever. I'm really looking forward to this, and is definitely one of my most anticipated games this year.

I've played the previous games a lot, and this looks much better. Yeah, that animations are still stiff, but it's Mount and Blade...what do you expect? :P They showed off town seiges yesterday, which was one place the game really suffered.

    Any updates?

Only really looking forward to this and Kingdom Come : Deliverance.

Looks like both will be making an appearance at e3.

March 31 this is coming. It's just been announced. Will I be playing this? The multiplayer castle sieges look like they will be great fun. Could be the multiplayer experiences of the year.

Finally. Honestly though I am looking forward to this I liked the first game a lot even though it did feel empty at times there's been enough time for the Devs to polish this up nicely now.

It's still the early access release, so i'd expect it to be pretty buggy for a while. But good to finally get a proper update.

Trying to buy it at the moment, but Steam is acting up for me. Will buy it, give it 2 hours to see how buggy it is, and refund if it's as much of a mess as i assume it will be.

Took the plunge based on how revered this series. Never played any of the others.

Also tempted despite never having played the original, so would be interested in your thoughts.

If you like games with objectives, missions or any form of direction, avoid this.

Its an open medieval sandbox in which you start with nout, and get taken as a prisoner pretty quickly build up your army, name and legacy through diplomacy and conquest.

I'm enjoying it so far after 2 hours. Skipped the tutorial as I do but am getting the hang of it. There are quests to guide you a bit. Currently wandering around trying to make money. Did a few escort missions, raided a few bandit camps and got caught trying to sell stolen goods. Early days yet but am definitely intrigued.

Might be worth holding off for a bit. I'm having a game breaking bug where the game crashes any time I make a sale with a vendor. Game is literally unplayable.

Ye definitely wouldn't pick it up at the moment. Game keeps crashing since I started a mission.....doesn't feel like ten years of work either. It's pretty much Warband version 1.2 to me so far.

refunded it, what a massive disappointment.
It really feels like a year's worth of work im almost convinced they just ported stuff from warband into the new engine they made.
Those taverns look way to familiar and some maps i was fighting in looked eerily similar i wouldn't have noticed except i clocked over a thousand hours in the original+dlc with mods etc.
Really piss poor effort if you ask me and no where near 50 euro's even for Early access standards this is scrapping the barrel.

If you refunded it with less than 2 hours played, I don't think you've seen the changes that have been made.

But I'm disappointed in it too, feels very similar to previous titles, plenty of bugs and not optimised very well.

Despite all that I'm still thoroughly enjoying it, there's enough new things to freshen it up and the core gameplay is as good as ever, if not better.

I've accepted it for what it is, early access to an unfinshed game that won't be complete for quite awhile.

I have 20 hours according to steam. I'd say 1/3 of that is afk though. I dunno if I could recommend it in its current form but it certainly passes them time.

Cheers for all those who bought and reviewed it. Think I'll hold off until bugs get sorted. Back to Half Life!

Played my first few hours just now, really enjoying it. Run's very smooth on GTX980Ti and Ryzen 3600.

My first M&B game, having missed Warband. May pick it up on sale. But yeah, has a lot of potential if this is EA.

Got this on Tuesday but had a bit of time to play it last night and have to say I am liking it. I played the original and loved it as well.Haven't encountered any crashes yet but there seems to be daily fixes all this week so hopefully a lot of the big ones have been fixed now.

I've abandoned this for now. Late game is a bit of a snooze. I'm just going to from city to city sieging until I've captured everything. Next time I play I definitely need to adjust the difficulty as its too easy on the default settings. I'll wait till a few patches come through and some mods. Its missing a lot of quality of life features.

Never played the first game but was looking forward to trying this out.
Might still do as im enjoying watching some lets play vids.

Looking forward to playing this game

Never played the older games, but I'm happy to wait a few months until they patch it up a good bit.
Been watching some streamers play it and it looks alot of fun but from what I understand is if you put alot of time into the older games it just seems like a rehash.

I saw this got an early access release and checked out some videos. Saw that the original game was a euro somewhere so I bought it to check it out and see if I liked it and I certainly did! So today I pulled the trigger on Bannerlord and so far it's definitely tougher combat as it's been improved, but the game is a lot of fun, I'm looking forward to spending a good chunk of my BH Monday playing it tomorrow.

Check out the RTS camera mod in nexusmods. Really makes it easier to organise the battlefield by being able to zoom out like when you die.

played this on launch, was much added or fixed since? found it was too much the same as m&b warband tbh, and i had a lot of time in that game.

It's coming along nicely. Not so one dimensional as warband there's more choice now but the AI in sieges is still terrible.

Its come on a bit and as usual the modding community is fantastic so most of the good things I use come from the mods tbh the devs themselves are quite lacking in all honesty.

Currently sitting back and waiting for the LOTR mod to be done.
