restore an old rocking chair.

    trying to fix up an old rocking chair she had as a child. The seat cladding has bowed over time. Any way I can fix them.

    I was going to suggest the technique of glueing some slips into sawkerfs but being a chair seat I think it would weaken it too much.
    If you could machine 10mm slats to be glued on to the concave side and clamped to a flat surface while drying I'm pretty sure they would stay straight.
