G clamps in B&Q- quality or not?

I purchased a couple of clamps in B&Q at the weekend- they're 3" and 6", cast iron with copper plated screw thread, for less than €5.98 and €8.98 each. They look to be of good quality, has anyone any experience of these or B&Q branded gear in general???
