Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Equality Authority says law must change to meet EU directives
    15/12/2003 - 6:49:52 pm

The Equality Authority is warning that there will have to be further changes to Irish law to meet the terms of three EU directives on equality.

The directives deal with race, framework employment and gender equality.

The authority says that twelve changes are needed, ranging from disability discrimination to a clearer definition of harassment.

These changes should include an onus on employers to provide better facilities for employees with a disability.

Niall Crowley, the chief executive of the Equality Authority, says the changes would be a real help in reducing discrimination.
