    Ever since a distant relative invited me to view her tree on Ancestry I'm getting these email messages. When I follow the link I'm brought directly to her tree. I don't need to know every time she adds someone to her tree. How can I stop the messages, can I reverse her invitation, or just ask her to delete me?

    I feel your pain.

    Go to My Account>Email preferences
    under that choose
    In my ancestry and My alerts

    You can turn them off there.
