Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He died a bachelor in St Kevin's Hospital, so no direct descendants.
He was born Thomas Joseph Meldon on 26 June 1881 in 65 St Alban's Terrace, SCR, Dublin, parents John Meldon, pharmacist and druggist, 106 James Street, and Lizzie Lawlor.

In 1911 he was living with his uncle Thomas Lawler and various siblings and cousins in Gardiner Street, uncle Thomas was a tailor's cutter and young Thomas was tailor's stockkeeper http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Dublin/North_Dock/Gardiner_Street__Lower/32232/

I have a friend called Meldon so I've passed the request to her.

Rereading the piece, it's not clear whether they're looking for relatives, or trying to persuade already-known relatives who don't want to be involved. There are still plenty of people who regard Ireland as the Free State because of what happened in the Civil War…
