Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Does anyone know where I can find the document/ circular that details how schools or Board of Managements should go about recruiting, selecting and appointing teachers in the post primary sector?

    Thanks.

Depends on the sector. Are you talking about SOP? Management bodies is probably best place.

If a ETB they will have a policy on recruitment such as https://www.loetb.ie/contentfiles/OSD/Human%20Resources/Recruitment%20and%20Selection%20Policy%20for%20Board%20Meeting%20adopted%20on%2026.06.2017.pdf. Most other schools are separate entities and would have there only policy

Standard Operating Procedures, basically a policy checklist. When I hold interviews, there's a very stringent checklist to follow before you hire someone.
