    Hi all,
    can anyone suggest where to get a motor for a Nova Comet 2 lathe?
    Its a 240v 3/4hp dc motor

    Nova part number 46034

    Contact Teknatool and find out if they have an agent in Europe, otherwise Rockler in the USA may be able to supply one.

    Apart from that the alternative will be to take the one you have and get it rebuilt.

    Don’t expect it to be cheap either way.

    The Record DML320 is very likely to be built using a compatible motor. Register on their website for the user manual which will let you pull the spare part number to go get a price.
