Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Summer holiday ideas for a couple (mid 20s)

    Hi,

    Me and my boyfriend are looking for recommendations for a summer holiday in either of these places:

    Italy
    Unspoiled but somewhat lively places in Spain
    Malta
    Cyprus
    France


    Budget: Probably about 2k max all in( flights and accomodation) hoping to get to two destinations with that budget.. we done 3 places in Spain last year for about 1600 , so hopefully a similar budget this year

    Thinking of June, a week in one place and maybe a week in another or 10 days.

    What we want is somewhere with a beach, a prom area/plenty of restaurants and a few bars and maybe a nice little town or port to stroll around in the nighttime.

    Somewhere easy enough to travel to from Dublin would help too with reasonable flights.


    Checking out Sicily/Sorrento/Lake Garda but unsure as I've never been to Italy, we have done the main touristy spots in Spain like Alicante(benidorm and calpe, malaga etc..)

    Would love if ye could tell me where you've been that you enjoyed for a summer holiday in any of those destinations!
