Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dog - skin ointment - suggestions

Hi all, our dog has a large scar on her thigh. The skin on the scar is normally on the dry side and for this we had been using aloe Vera but she normally licks it off. Today she had been licking the scar and she’s sort of broken the skin....it looks similar to a burst blister. We’ve cleaned it up but was wondering, in order to get her to stop licking it and let it heal, does anyone have any suggestions as to something (natural) we can put on the skin that dogs don’t like to lick?

    Thanks in advance

What about using an inflatable collar? It would do similar to a cone but without the annoyance of it hitting off stuff etc.
Refer to the vet for the wound itself, it might need an antibiotic if the skin is broken, they can advise re creams etc.
