Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Help picking a 4K TV

I'm getting a 4K Dolby Vision TV for use with AppleTV and xBox.

The room is 8 feet wall to wall so I'd sitting 7/7.5 feet from the TV.

I Googled viewing distances and most sites say a 60 inch 4K TV suits 5 to 8 feet distance.

That seems like very big screen when I mark it out on the wall. Would a person's eyes even be able to take all the activity on the screen at that distance?

Would I lose out going with a 50 inch or smaller?

I would like a TV where the 4K image looks great straight out of the box but I've been told that fine tuning is always required.

I want great picture but €500 is my absolute limit - and I'd rather not even go that high. Can a great 4K TV be bought for that price?
