Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

GTA online added in their Casino to the game, dependant on the country particular laws you can or can't use the money you got from the shark cards to buy the chips in the casino.

I have a friend in Luxembourg and their gambling laws are such that he's not even allowed to spin a "free to play" wheel in the GTA Casino.

Which is funny cause most of these companies at least legally are based there, always see it on receipts & invoices.

I think this is the face of the investors, not the players

I played Fruit Machine Simulator on the Amstrad for hours as a kid. Didn't turn me into a gambling addict tbh.
They're not a problem for people without a problem.

Always remember a guy from college watching me playing poker on a machine, saying he had never tried it before, I had to head off and when I came back from the weekend he told me he'd lost everything he had. Granted we were students with little to lose, I once lost a whole week's budget on Liverpool but it taught me a lesson about sure things and gambling.

yeah, they've done that with the last few games, it launches with very little microtrans and within 6 months it looks completely different.

I liked black ops 4, but the state of it now is genuinely off putting.
the sad part is, if there was a €5 microtransaction, that would make it so that i can't see the horrible sh1te that other players have equipped.... I'd nearly pay it.

There was an option like that in BF hardline, doubt you'll ever get that again in any game. If there's a 0.000000001% chance you'll see something and then want to buy it they'll go for that.

It is being done this way to fool the ERSB. Games in the US now have to state if they have microtransactions, if there are none at launch all the physical copies wont have that marked on them though the digital rating will be adjusted accordingly.
