Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The big question: Can Alan Matthews finally get Bray relegated this year?

How many league games would everyone be behind at this stage in Winter Football. There'd have been no games since August in Ballybofey and the south/southwest coast not far off...

    Hire out Oriel..

The LoI off-season is way too long. This weekend would be about right to get the season going. Anyways, looking forward to it kicking off soon.

Shorter season means clubs have to pay players less. It sucks but it makes sense.

Not exactly true, you think your/our players are preseason training for free?

meant to be a 40 week contract so Nov 1st to feb 18ish would time off for them. We training since 1st week in jan, Rovers since before xmas.

Aint doing that **** for free.

Pre-season training would probably start earlier if the season started earlier.

What's holding Cobh and Youths back?

Presume Cobh's is down to finances as a player or 2 took to twitter not that long ago giving out that they hadn't been paid up for 2013.

So we paying the players anyway or not in some cases...... but the "contract" is still 40 weeks.

Dont think you can blame the clubs on that one, maybe theres a group out there that altho has the players rights at heart doesnt really have a clue what they are doing. And its because of them we are in this situation.

Did Dave O Leary sign for Cork? He's listed in their subs today.

Cork will be right up there this year.

Bohs have agreed to a friendly against my Kildare league junior side on March 2nd!
They played down in our place during Euro 2012 too, and it's great to see them coming back down again!

It's a huge deal for a club like ours.

I'd say the reason the Youths haven't got a full licence is to do with question marks over our ground. That or tax

I think the ground is fine, I think it is down to our annual cock-up of sending incomplete documents to the FAI. Anyway, I think any club could send their application in on the back of a fag packet this year and still get their licence.

A good run in the cup and a top 4 finish would be a great year down the Cross. If we click up front it could happen. If not, mid table will have to do.

    From our facebook
Meanwhile, Bohs’ friendly against Shelbourne, originally scheduled for Tolka Park this Thursday, has been refixed for Friday (February 21), Martin Savage Park, Scribblestown at 7pm.

Trying to save the surface I'd say.

Looks like it. I loved our Red away jersey, but home was only average. Colours just did not suit

30 points. I think Cork's jerseys look better with the darker green. The light green always had a touch of the night time cyclist about it.

how would LOI supporters feel about putting their club name in their profile location as well?

I often read threads on LOI and people refer to things like "We have looked great this season" and I have no idea who they support.
