Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My random searches for Irish genealogy records brought me to this Quinnipiac University (in Connecticut, USA) website about The Famine.
    http://www.thegreathunger.org/

They have scanned the minute books of the Killarney Union Board of Guardian members for 1845-1848, basically the workhouse records.

They also plan to scan all sorts of British parliament publications.

    That's cool.

I think I may have mentioned this one before but since this thread is for Kerry, I'll point it out again.

Many different cemetaries in Kerry: 70000 records apparently.

You did pinky, yeah definitely, but sure no harm posting it again as a reminder. I have ancestors from Tralee and Abbeydorney and I remember getting excited when I seen (saw?) this posted first. :D It's a good resource for sure.
