Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any suggestions or point in the right direction would be appreciated. I am looking for 2 Hub grease caps for an old 5 stud 10' x 6' tractor trailer. Its nothing special and only used occasionally. The hub grease caps are missing for quite some time and am looking to tidy up before any damage is done to the bearings which are still ok. The size that I am looking for is 81.55 mm OD ( 3.21") x 45-50mm deep. The name of any Irish supplier would be appreciated. I don't want the hassle with UK suppliers because of Brexit.

Are they a threaded fit or just tap into the hub?

The caps "tap into" the hub.

Each manufacturer uses slightly different sizes and these can be very specific i.e. indespension is 50.25mm, bradley is 50.6mm etc (iirc). Go into a dealer and don't be wasting time and money trying to second guess buying online. Where in the country are you?

Op is looking for hub caps for a tractor trailer, not a jeep trailer. Could you get some made at a light engineering place with a lathe?

Any good machinist or toolmaker could measure the diameter for you. An external measurement can be done with a vernier. Internal diameter is harder to get accurate. Internal gauge type needed.
