Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Love when the pets have normal names, eg Declan above.

    Round our way, the pets always assumed their family name too, hence, Declan might have been Declan Byrne.

    We had a Leo Maguire and a Jimmy Kelly.

    My Mum bought a dog licence for Jill and was fuming when it came out issued as mongrel. It was swiftly re issued as mixed breed

    These guys are fabliss! What kind of turtles are they? The guy on the right looks like an alligator snapping turtle with his little pointy snout. I used to have terrapins many years ago and when I’d go to remove them from the tank to clean it, they would cling on so hard with their pointy little beaks hurt like hell but kept things interesting :o
    (Sorry for all the different posts, I have to learn how to multi quote :o)

    I don't have any pets myself but my brothers' dogs and parents' cats feel like my pets. Won't see them for a while and gonna miss pet cuddles! :o

    Amboina box turtle from Asia on the left, Musk turtle from America on the right. He's forty something, the Amboina is thirty something. Long lived. :)

    In order of appearance. Esmae, Mr C & Hermoine and then Ravel who is a neighbourhood pooch that sometimes follows us home. We do have another guinea pig named Bea but she was snoozing elsewhere.
