Islam as a Political Ideology in 21st Century Europe, as opposed to " A Religion ".

Muhammed ( peace be upon him ) was the Prophet who founded Islam.

According to the calendar we operate by, Muhammed ( peace be upon him ) was born in the year 570 and died in the year 632 at the age of 62.

Muhammed ( peace be upon him ) began founding Islam in around the year 610, and continued until his death in 632.

Muhammed ( peace be upon him ), created Islam upon visitations to him by such spiritual beings as the angel Gabriel ( who had previously visited the Virgin Mary ) who explained Allah's laws. On one occasion Muhammed ( peace be upon him ) rode a flying horse from what is now Arabia, to Jerusalem and back, in a single night.

Several of the laws that Allah laid down, Allah later amended specifically for Muhammed ( peace be upon him ). For example, Muslims were permitted 4 wives at the same time, but Allah contacted Muhammed ( peace be upon him ) directly to tell him he was allowed to have 11 ( or 13 wives ) at the same time, providing he spent equal time with them. Muhammed ( peace be upon him ) told a meeting of his wives, that Allah had spoken to him personally to resolve the situation.

Muhammed ( peace be upon him ), was involved in many events, which are recorded in the Koran, the Hadith and other historical documents.

After Muhammed's ( peace be upon him ) death, a schism over the new leader of Islam was created, and sects including Sunni and Shia resulted. Since the year 630 odd they have been disagreeing to today, 2015 and show no sign of a resolution

Muhammed's ( peace be upon him ), is apparently regarded by Muslims as the "perfect man" and the "perfect example", and his life is to be emulated.

In the year 2015, it appears that whilst his life and actions may indeed be of their time, those emulating him in the 21sct Century, may be considered differerently.

Muhammed's ( peace be upon him ) behavior in the 7th century has a direct impact in the 21st Century.

As such an influential man in Ireland and Europe today, it would be interesting to discuss his behavior during his lifetime, and the implications and impact of that in Europe in the present day.
