You should be able to create a WiFi hot-spot and then cast from the phone to the chromecast, the content would still be coming from your phone.

Or just download to your laptop and use the cable from that to the TV. It doesn't matter how many devices you use Netflix on, I've Netflix on my phone/tablet/TV/laptop, you can only watch on the amount of screens you pay for.

So are you saying that an already downloaded movie on my phone won't through a connecting cable on my motorhome TV?

You need to find out if your phone supports an MHL connection.

If it does, you need to buy an MHL to HDMI converter and use this to connect your phone to the TV.

Alas no, downloaded the MHL checker app. Huawei P20 lite doesn't support MHL.
Back to the drawing board....the current favourite plan seems to be an Ezcast or Chromecast dongle (Ezcast is built in to the TV, might be simpler) and my wife's Huawei as a hotspot. We both have P20s btw with good bundles.
