Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All

I have always had trouble finding good apps for my phone for weather.

Thought it might be useful for people to post theirs.

Please note what platform you are using

    e.g. weather (Android)

    Thanks !

WeatherPro (iphone) - Good for the fact that it has the raintoday.co.uk rain radar on it.

    iPhone 4/5.0.1

Rain Alarm: Nice. Warnings can be a bit wishy washy
AccuWeather / free & Pro: I'm not rating this as the original one was better.
    FreeWeather: Just a local monitor.
Wind Speed: Reasonable, but clunky IMO.
Irish Weather: [paid] A lovely App, recommended *
    WindSpeedConvertor: OK
Wind Meter: Trialling, have no opinion on yet.
PocketWind: Nice App, one figure and it converts everything, little description and wind scale.Weather symbols change with the selected input figure.
Sea Breeze: Brilliant little app and fun: Takes reading from you local airport and graphically illustrates the wind speed and direction. *
Clouds: A little simple, but I'll keep it.

Had to go look to refresh my own weather apps and came across this one for €25 ~ what? For the app store this is a serious price.

Anyone bought it and so on?

It's the Sea Breeze 3D version and yes there is a lot of duplicate name in this section. I don't see a link to a website for it.

It should select the nearest one to you. I'd advise you ask the writer.

My choices are Cork, Shannon or Connaught.

In the Location explanation it says "The locations list consists of those nearby locations which have reported weather readings recently. This list may change from time to time, as stations do not always report continuously or reliably."

    iOS
    Weather
    WeatherPro
    Accuweather

    Android:
    The Weather Channel
    Accuweather

    None are particularly good imo
