    Hi,

    I will be appying for a grant next year..

    I will be eligible for 100 % maintenance grant hopefully however

    My proposed college is just shy of 45 km from my home, rendering me ineligible for the higher rate. Were they to go by a longer route I would be eligible. Do susi calculate it via the shortest possible route or do you get an input into what route you'll take ofc within reason..

    So essentially, were I to go to TCD rather than UCD i would be losing out on nearly 2k.

    Also is there a cap on how much pension contributions can be deducted from total earnings.
