Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd be surprised if UFC plough on with the Ponzi v Perry fight after that interaction.

I was surprised it's happening at all because they are looking to have a really big show in Argentina early next year so I thought they were saving him for that

Queue minor 'injury' to Ponzinibbio which takes him out of action for a few weeks and Till to take his place. UFC would be mad not to throw Ponzinibbio a few quid to pull out of the fight and promise him another big match up as a sweetener.

Think Artem needs to pack in the MMA thing and get a real job. Losing to "fággots" now.

Regardless of what he does he was a game fighter and better than alot of what's in ufc, he will never be great but most aren't no shame in that.

I also wouldn't blame him for what McGregor spouts out.

Agree on both counts but when you're 31 and you've fought 29 times and lost 14 its time to stop.

The elbow from Till was a beauty. He shouldn't have bothered giving Mike Perry any attention. He had a great opportunity to call out someone higher up the food chain.

Meh, if it’s worth something it will be a very high profile fight. Something to potentially main event a fight night event in Liverpool or co-main a PPV.

It will be a big fight from hype alone thanks to Mike Perry’s mouth. Even though ranking-wise Perry is nowhere, it would be a high profile win for whoever does win it.

Perry is an enigma. He's not as thick as he seems IMO. Good interview below with Dan Hardy.

Till vs Perry will be a good scrap. Technically I think Till is better, but Perry won't fold like Cerrone does under pressure.

I'm really surprised that the UFC booked Perry vs Santiago despite flying Perry out to Gdansk and it was announced he was going to be a guest fighter there weeks before and also Till said he'd call him out if he won.

It would have made perfect sense IMO to wait and see what happened here. If Till wins and calls Perry out, great. There's your headliner on a Liverpool Fight Night card. If not, just do Perry v Ponzinibbio.

There's a very good chance Ponzinibbio beats Perry and then there goes the hype behind this potential match up.

Its about time the ufc built something up

They dont have to fight next. Building up some fighters on the way up, and rivalries as well isnt a bad thing.

Ufc keep booking potentially good fighters too early imo.

This staged call outs are pure cringe.

Perry v Till in Liverpool is the fight to make 100%. I reckon Bisping will retire after the GSP fight win or lose so it's an opportunity to create a new British star.

The fact the fight will also be a barnburner only sweetens the deal.

Jesus.. no way is Bisping retiring if he is wins. Leaving millions on the table. Would be crazy and my understanding of him is that he’s going nowhere as long as he keeps winning.

I just feel he doesn't want any bit of Whittaker. The fight wouldn't be a huge draw PPV wise and he's not on McGregor mega purses so why bother. He gets his payday with GSP and gets to ride away on his own terms and finally get his eye fixed like he wants.

Dunno man. He is one of the highest earners on the roster - He’d be taking in 5 million at least for the GSP fight anyway
