Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some really stunning collections and a lot of models that I am not familiar with. A little tougher than last time even though there are fewer collections.

Disappointing number of entries I think!

I'd only had 2 picked for my own entry, but then got slammed with work for college.
Then compounded that with taking on a little consulting work that has left my chrono24 browsing woefully under what was needed for an entry.

The quality of the entries even though it's a reduced field is brilliant tho!
I never twigged the Ti and ceramic counted :(
I'd been looking mainly at PM stuff.

Great collections tho and my vote has been cast.

Looks like there was a secret criteria to fit as many black dials in as possible. ;-P

Well spotted, and almost no bracelets. Hard to believe there's almost 600k of watch porn there.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

That's funny that there's no bracelets. Not much yellow gold either considering the rules. Cheers for formatting everything nicely Fitz

i suppose with PM bracelets send the prices sky rocketing, id imagine that was the main factor rather than a universal hatred of bracelets :P

That was my thinking too, Yellow gold ap on leather 30k....yellow on bracelet 50k. For this exercise not worth it. What I can say for certain is chaps dont choose small watches, dont choose much rolex, like a sporty look rather than classic dress aesthetics mostly, Patek is on the wishlist far more than in peoples collections, suppose that economic, is for me.

Yellow gold bracelets don't seem to be fashionable either. Unless you're BA Baracus or a rapper, best to stay away

I'm not wild about gold on a watch at all.
Just doesn't do it for me.

So that's an automatic pass for me. Interesting pieces otherwise.

to be fair when you look at the collections its not exactly a celebration of bling, theres very little yellow or rose gold up there.

Very little yellow/rose gold which show the trend is still against them.

Most of the chosen one were discreet even, e.g the IWC and the 2xALS.

Well this poll is closed and voting had a better uptake than last time.

We had a tie for first place between entry D and Entry F.

Entry F used a total of €99,540 and entry D used a total of €99,944. So as is the rule the person closest to the 100k total wins.

Congratulations to Cienciano for the win. Cienciano, take a few days and consider what rules you want for next months poll. Well done :D

Woo! I just want to thank my parents, my manager, my wife. But most of all, Fitz for going to the effort of organizing this

I really liked A, I wanted a zeitwerk in the collection but couldn't fit it, but couldn't bring myself to vote for a gold sub!

The FP Journe has gone down since, it's now €34,733 if anyone is interested in buying it.

Start thinking about what you are going to spend the prize money on and the rules for the next 3rd hunger games.

A was mine, I love the zeitwork its magnificent. The gold sub is actually a very nice watch in the hand and with the black dial and Rolex gold its not as ostentatious. But maybe I am getting old. So the only acceptable gold rolex is a daytona....glad thats the case :)

Be sure to give us good rules for the next comp and remember to be very specific, Unkle will find any chink in the rules and exploit it within 30 seconds :)

Congrats Cienciano. I'm looking forward to your 5 watch under 500 bucks sh1tter competition criteria ;-)

There should be new terms attached to this one; whoever wins has to send the collection to Archie as a "paid" review!
