40 footer parking on main road

Hi All. I have a quick question There is a main road with Paid parking on the side of the road up to 6pm After 6pm a 40 footer pulls up which takes up around 5-6 parking spaces. Is there a law where these types of haulage trucks are allows to park or can they park anywhere there is room and cars can pass?
