Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hypothetical and all that, what was the internal layout for the Death Star design?
It had artificial gravity, but was the gravity acting to the centre core of the Death Star or acing to the lower south pole?

When you see the Millennium Falcon being towed in by a tractor beam it is perpendicular to the surface to the Death Star, which would make sense if gravity acted to south pole.

If gravity was acting to the centre it should be parallel to the surface, just like a plane landing.

Then in the finale the surface gun turrets and canyon run would make sense if gravity was acting to the centre.

So, the internal layout, was it like a series of latitudinal floors starting at the south pole and working all the way up to the north pole, or was it a series of concentric spheres working from the centre out?

Why are you planning to build one lol?

It's a film. I doubt any of them things were thought about. Just enjoy the film and use your imagination for that.

<waves hand> This is the book you are looking for.

Specifically the cut away diagram :

So concentric surface decks, and internally horizontal decks.
