    Has anyone notice in manage your tax 2021 that gross pay is a way higher than Pay for income tax?

    This is always the case for people who make pension conts

    Gross = 50k
    Pension conts = 5k
    Taxable pay = 45k

    There could be other reasons also.

    your pension reduces the gross pay so you're not taxed on your pension contribution,

    So gross pay value less total pension contribution equals pay for income tax
