Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

“The beginning of PRZECIW (AGAINST) reaches back to September 1994 and trials in club INDUSTRIAL in Lublin. All the band members have started their scene career since 1989 in different punk and reggae bands. In April 1995 Piotrek and Czarek decided to leave for UK. The band suspended its activities for 3 years. In Aprl 1998 the band was reactivated. After almost a year of trials the band recorded a material in studio CZAD in Swarzêdz which was released in January 2000 by ENIGMATIC Records. MC Mr. **** - over 30 minutes nice portion of good, classic HC/Punk. In 2001/2002 is a period of many concerts all over the country. In Spring 2003 the band was joined by DAREK who became the main vocalist. New material for the record was almost ready that time. We recorded that in July 2003 in studio MARTON in Lublin. During the session we recorded 14 songs. One them was a cover of DEZERTER's "Szara Rzeczywistoæ". The material was released by PASA¯ER. To our first CD we also added old material - Mr. **** - which was re-mastered. Currently we are playing concerts and started to create the material for our next record.”

Zwi?zany z nami mentalnie, gdy? gra? z ka?dym z nas w nieco innych konfiguracjach na pocz?tku lat 90-tych. Materia? wtedy by? ju? praktycznie zrobiony. Pozosta?o go jedynie doszlifowa? pod wzgl?dem wokalnym. Do studia MARTON w Lublinie weszli?my na pocz?tku lipca. Podczas tej sesji zarejestrowali?my czterna?cie piosenek w tym cover DEZERTERA, Szara Rzeczywisto??. Tym razem materia? wyda? PASA?ER. Do premierowego CD do??czona jest druga p?yta z naszym poprzednim materia?em "Mr. ****", który zosta? “ponownie zremasterowany. Only Fumes & Corpses are a DIY hardcore punk based in Galway, Ireland. since they formed in early 2005 tours with Endstand, Gasmask Terror and Watertank as well as opening for Sick Of It All, Leftover Crack, Giveamanakick etc have helped to spread their name. Their debut 4 track EP will be releaesed to coincide with the short tour. Only Fumes & Corpses are Momme (ex Dogboy Conspiracy)-vocals, Daniel ( The Boy You Hit Is Dead, ex Fuktifino)-guitars/vocals, Thomas ( The Ghostwood Project/Murdoch)-Drums and Conor (ex Nerdlinger)-Bass.

SYMARIP(also known at various stages of their career as The Bees, The Pyramids, Seven Letters and Zubaba) were a ska and reggae band from the United Kingdom, originating in the late 1960s.
Consisting of members of West Indian descent, Symarip is widely marked as one of the original skinhead bands, being one of the first to target skinheads as an audience.
Their style of music became known as skinhead reggae, and their hits included "Skinhead Moonstomp", "Skinhead Girl" and "Skinhead Jamboree".
In 1980, the album Skinhead Moonstomp was re-issued in the wake of the 2 Tone craze, hitting the UK pop charts for the first time.
Lead singer Roy Ellis and Hammond organ/keyboard player Monty Neysmith are back on the road with a new backing band playing all the old favourites.
FOXY'S RUTS came about through Buster Bloodvessel asking the late Paul Fox (1951-2007) to put a band together to play at BADFEST in 2006.
First of all Paul recruited his eldest son Lawrence Fox on drums and he actually plays Dave Ruffy's original gretsch drum kit with the band. Then an old friend who runs CLUB SKA and long time RUTS fan Geno Blue was brought in on bass, now all that was required was someone with personality and big bollox to front the band. Paul had heard of a RUTS tribute band in Yorkshire called SAVAGE CIRCLE. He decided to check them out and that's where he found the great manic talents of Mr.Mark Paul. Now with a band ready for the road they did a couple of warm up gigs then onto BADFEST, which was a roaring success. [James Whale who compared the show said that the band stole the show].After such a great start the band were then asked to tour with BAD MANNERS on their Christmas tour of the U.K. and Europe. The tour was a great success with the highlight being the MELKWEG in Amsterdam. Recent gigs also include PUNK and DISORDERLY festival in Berlin.
Although Paul sadly passed away last year, the band decided to stay together and continue playing the music that made/makes The Ruts one of the most respected Punk Reggae bands from the ‘80s.
Present Arms, from Dublin’s North Side, play good old fashioned Ska/Reggae which can be compared to the music from the 2Tone era with a bit of UB40 thrown into the mix. They’ve been doing the rounds for some years now supporting the likes of Neville Staples and Skaville UK0 -

Miss the days of gigs in Hogans in Ballina
Used to be good craic!
As it happens there are plans for a few gigs in Hogan's in the upcoming weeks. Nothing is concrete as of yet but there has been a lot of talk about it. Hopefully it happens, as myself and a friend were working on a DVD of all the bands who played there over the past 18 months and 4 of my tapes were destroyed.0 -
