Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey Guys


    I am based in dublin work full time , I am interested in taking up irish again. I would be near a complete beginner. Any ideas on where to start ??

    Would you be interested in a more formal or informal approch to learning Irish?

    For formal, Conradh na Gaeilge and others run classes for beginners in the city. There are also many good books you can get for learning Irish in any bookshop.

    If your more interested in an informal approch, try joining a Ciorcal Comhrá (Conversation Circle) there are many of these around Dublin.

    I took a more informal approch to learning Irish and it worked out quite well, but each to his own.

    It's been said a million times before here but Gaelchultúr offer the best Irish classes in Dublin- they are part-time courses, in Temple Bar, and can start in at whichever class you are able for and work your way up.
