Below are some links to photos of its quick visit to Dublin and its previous identity as EI-BDU
I appreciate the sentiment but 1/1600th for a propjob? 1/160th would be pushing it. And taxying usually needs 1/50th or slower for a prop disk.

The engines on the DC3 are new Turbo props, not sure which aircraft they came off...

airframe is slightly longer also as it had the basler bt12 update to make it a bt12 so the PWR2800 engines are swapped for a turboprop

No DC-3 ever had R-2800s. Try the R-1830 Twin Wasp.

They are very popular conversions and are always in demand and don't come on the second hand market too often.

Thought this was going to Africa? Bjimouti? It left Palermo a few days back.

This photo is not the same plane, but just follows on the discussion of DC-3T's

APPLE CREEK, Ohio-- A plane crashed in Wayne County Monday morning, killing two people.

It crashed in the front yard of a home Hackett Road between Carr and Kansas roads. The scene is near the Stoltzfus Airfield in Apple Creek.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the two victims are from the area. Their names have not been released. Early reports indicated there were six people on board, troopers said, but they later learned there were two.

The plane took down power lines during the crash, knocking out electricity. No one on the ground was injured.

The aircraft's tail number shows it is a Douglas DC3C-66 Turbo-prop plane. It is registered to Priority Air Charter in Kidron.

    May the crew RIP.

Nice I saw this Breitling DC-3 at Carcassonne airport and took a snap way back in 2012, only time I have seen one still in use in person.
