Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should our moderators argue with objectionable posts from objectionable posters for all to see , instead of in private ? Don't tell the mods .

"Don't tell the mods" what do we not want to tell the Mods?
I think Mods discussing a point publicly is called transparency is it not?

Don't tell the mods we're having a discussion.

Transparency would be the term, but would they then have a conflict as they would be involved in a discussion while moderating is taking place.

How could they argue on the one hand that people should not argue with their decisions applied to threads , such as removal of posts , while on the other moderators are themselves taking part in the discussions ?

And , how are we to know that it isn't the same moderator who is having a discussion with us in a thread and then moderating the thread as a "puppet" ?

I welcome as many Moderators as possible to give us their views .
