Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very cold here all day but dry too no sign of anything wet

    Craughwell Galway.
Any chance of precipitation around Galway through the nite maq? I'd be 15 mile inland from Galway.

Im so sorry for this davidsr20 but its impossible for there to be any snow in Craughwell because I live there too, and I have a magic super deflector shield that stops snow from ever falling within a 20 mile radius of wherever I happen to be at the time. I dont know how to turn it off. Sorry.

~2 degrees and currently dry in Castletroy, Limerick. Mostly overcast, with small breaks in the cloud showing high cirrus cover. Moon poking through every so often but surrounded by a small hazy corona.

Tiny tiny amount of snow after falling on the car here in Ballydesmond. And by small I mean a square metre of it condensed into a square centimetere would sitll look light.

    At least it's something :D

Yeah it's a graupel is what's falling here.
We need heavier stuff to move in and then it's bingo!!

I'm very confident that Cork City will see lying snow tonight
You will need high ground though, which as we know is a plenty in suburban areas
Reports from Cobh of just drizzle, might be just too near the coast for the moment

ahh , but usually its all about the east/dublin and the north , as thats where normally gets the most snow.

decent chance for some bit of snow in the west , southwest and inland south tonight so i dont see any harm in having a thread for just this area for once as its not all that often that a decent chance pops up for snow in the likes of cork kerry and surrounding areas !!

not having a go , its just handy to have a seperate thread for all the southwestie guys to report whats going on in their area rather than having it all mixed up in the other threads . :)

bitterly cold in tipp , looks like them showers are beefing up a small bit ? , hopefully anyway they make it a nice bit inland !!

Ya more rain really then sleet here in Grange! Bit hard to tell though as my lamppost is across the road! Anyone know the current temp for Douglas area? The iPhone app is saying 2c but I'm always reluctant to trust it fully :)

That's the problem with 2 threads!!

I had to work through 15 pages of the other thread before I realised there was a separate one for the West and South! And I was only away from the laptop for a couple hours... :pac:

I haven't checked but I'm sure someone in that thread is redirecting lost W, SW, S boardsie's over to this one?
