    Hi guys just looking for some advice. I’m a U.S citizen been living in Ireland for 10 years plus with my Irish wife. We have both decided to move back to the U.S, I am finding it hard to secure a job from this side of the Atlantic. Regarding the affidavit of support will they accept savings in the bank alone with no job or co-sponsor.

    I was on the other side of that process, and much has changes since but I found https://www.visajourney.com/ and https://www.immihelp.com/ good resources when I was moving from Ireland to the US years back. If I recall, my wife's parents just basically attested that they'd support me if necessary so I wouldn't end up being a burden to the state.
