Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    HI there,

I know a lot of canoeing enthusiasts will have done source to sea on the shannon. I am not a canoeist and am thinking of trying the navagable parts in my 18 foot fibre glass row boat ( without engine), maybe 2 and 3 days at a time over the summer.

Anyone have any views on how much of the shannon would be doable in a row boat, and hints tips or advice on how I might go about the project. WHat to look out for in terms of planning and safety ( my boating experience is all inland lake based )

If its a completely stupid proposition don't hold back....Im not the sensitive type!!

    Thanks for any help

    P:D
