It’s half the RRP, which is an unrealistic price that it never sold for.
It’s not even a sale where they actually stocked the goods for a number of weeks at an inflated price.

The stuff is very over priced.

Was in homebase in nutgrove yesterday, no halloween stuff but the floor was full of Christmas decorations and other Christmas stuff. The prices were shocking so don't expect that the stuff 'on sale in woodies is cheap or a good deal

Yeah I never seen it on sale at full price so I don't know how they're in line with the law about goods having to be on sale for a number of weeks at full price before they can be said to be 50% off RRP

I found last year and the year before that on October 30th, there are drastic further reductions in store. For example, I've a couple of these sorts of thing:

IIRC, last year's "half price sale" price was €40 rather than the €45 they're listed at now. But on October 30th, I was able to buy them for just €10 each. There were similar percentage reductions on all the smaller stuff too.
