Roof Dry Verge

    I'd be interested in some responses re dry verge instead of pointing for a standard 4 bed detached house. I need to get it done (once a family of birds fly away). A few of the houses in my estate have got it done and it works out about 90 pieces to cover both sides and a small peak at the front. From what I've seen it takes 2 lads about 7 hours to do it and that's including more than I want (cleaning roof etc.) and for a bigger house (about 15 more pieces) I have got 3 quotes - 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 - all exactly them amounts. Any idea what an acceptable price should be as I expected to know by now but the large difference has made it impossible it gauge. I'd say 90 pieces would cost €450 max.

    BTW - I'm not saying it should cost €450 I'm saying the pieces are approx €450

    Easier to fit, no mess, won't dry out over time too.. I can't see any downside, but the longevity of the material, be it continuous or stepped.

    As a roofer, I'm all for it

    We got it done recently with Eave/Gutters and the dry verge was 1k for around 80 pcs

    Done now 1500 with ridges and valleys done with some type of filer (not cement)
