Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Most days I log onto the computer and go straight to boards.ie then I go to Amazon and look at the shopping offers, then Email, etc.

    SO!! the question is for you!! what sites do you go to every day to kill time. Obviously the answer will be porn this and porn that, however, I can find porn sites by myself.

    Forget computer games. Play chess instead to give your brain a workout. Go to lichess.org to play against other enthusiasts from all over the world, or play against their computer at all levels. You dont even have to register if you dont want to. And its free.

    I hear this a lot about Reddit and no doubt there is a lot of idiots there. But for the most part I find the subbreddits I browse to be fine.
    There is a huge amount of valuable interesting content there.
    To completely dismiss it because some areas can be a bit toxic is madness.

    Reddit, subscribe to a few subreddits of topics you're interested in - and a few you'll stumble across - and it's incredible. Spend about an hour everyday on it reading stuff on my feed.

    Dunno how anyone could describe Reddit as the "toilet of the internet" when places like 4Chan exist. Not that 4Chan isn't without its charms, but Reddit is a genuinely superb resource.

    If I want to kill time, it's either Boards, Reddit or 4Chan.
