Hot water bottle weather

What kind of temperature does it have to reach before you reach for the hot water bottle? Or is it a "feck it if it's cold, it's still not late enough in the year for one" type thing for you? Which do you prefer and why- hot water bottle or electric blanket? I have the dreaded manflu and am freezing with it, but September…

I don't consider it cold until a frost has formed on the mane of hair that runs up my back.

I switched my quilt for a duvet on Sunday. I think I'd put it off too long; I'm sleeping much better these days.
