Holiday villages

Hi, I am hoping some of you can share with me some nice holiday villages / town in the north of our country. Ideally we would like somewhere that has a beach and is close enough to walk to a shop / restaurant / pub along with the beach. I would love to be able to show our kids all the wonderful sites the north of Ireland…
