Quite happy to take 8-1 about Broroco in the 3.10 Notts. Well bred brother to Elm Park. Good debut led to him being pitched into a group 3 next time, running ok. On the debut effort alone id fancy his chances and the fact he was thrown into a group race after shows he has a few fans in the yard. Typical late season maiden looks hard to assess but there is no superstars in this field and a shaky looking even money favourite.

    Thomas Crapper 4:00 10/11 NAP ****
Hasn't won over fences yet but showed some very useful form last season, most notably when very creditable second in Listed handicap at the Cheltenham festival. Has a lot more experience over fences that his rivals and will take an awful lot of beating today.

    Green Light 4:45 Nottingham 4/1 ***
Successful off 3 lbs lower over C&D in May. Has been unlucky ever since though. Got stopped in his run several times at Haydock when 7th. Went into a lot of notebooks that day. Came out and ran a staying on 4th at Sandown on his following run on ground that was too fast. Ran in a big handicap at the Curragh last time out. Finished mid division but yet again didn't get the run of the race. Still well handicapped, definitely another win or two in him. The forecast rain will suit him and I think he will run a big race today.

    Arrowtown 5:55 Kempton 9/2 ***
Caught the eye when staying on into mid division in a 7f course maiden on her sole juvenile outing. Showed a lot more when fourth over 1m4f here latest. That was a decent run. Is entitled to step up on that first run in a year. The three in front of her all ran well next time. It's an open race on paper but I think this one could be different class.

The Stoute horse Across the stars is the talk of Newmarket this morning i'm informed, meant to be very highly thought of. I've only gone small e/w because of Stoutes disappointing season but hope to at least get the place. Lets hope one of us overturns the fav anyway. Good luck.

I've also been told Ebazziyr is well fancied in the Navan 3.10, he's an e/w price too.

Joseph has given that Giant Redwood a beautiful educational ride in winning. Fair play to the boy. change of gear from the horse 2 out was eyecatching too. might be one to follow over the extended distances for the coolmore biys.

Just coming on to post the same, fantastic ride, if that had been Ryan Moore everyone would be creaming themselves!
