Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    In LOL there were 'home' and 'away' matches so both teams got to have 8/9 words.

    Pretty sure last world cup, one of the captains set up the game and then offered the opposing team which colour they want. Before pm'ing the board obviously.

    Yeah we can do that if people like. Don't think it makes a huge difference given you won't know what side you'll be getting when you set up.

    I think home and away is a good idea, so if you’re named first in those fixtures I sent out you’re guessing first

    Grand well in that case, you'd have to get both guessers to pm words to the captains to create a board.

    Something like each guesser pm's one word (lower case) to both captains. One of the captains creates the board using the home guesser's word first and then the away guesser's word.

    E.g. "fragile" and "monkey" would create the board fragilemonkey like so https://www.horsepaste.com/fragilemonkey

    Well not saying it would happen, but if I know whether I'm going first or second, if I wanted to I could just post up a board that is really easy for me and hard for the opponent.

    This way the board is random.

    Poor Duffers getting paired up with the newb :o

    I love our team name though! I get the general gist of the game, have read older ones so not completely clueless.

    So we pick a time we’re both free to play yes? What do you say Duff? :D

    captain gives the clues, the other half try to match the clues to the pieces on the board. the two make a team.
